MOTHER
They'll
arise and 'call her blessed',
Just as the Bible says.
She always can be with you,
And will tell you 'like it is'.
And, of course, (as they grow older)
They know that she's the 'best'
Of all the one's they've known
(compared to all their friends),
She's the one that loves them dearly.
And to them, she will transcend
The most heav'nliest of beings
When this life has an end.
Dearest 'Mother', they will call her,
But she's so much more than that,
For she always tends to wear
Every kind of needful 'hat'.
But she usually can surprise them
When the 'hat' she sometimes wears
Is the disciplinning parent
(of course, it's 'cause she cares).
In the end their grateful to her
For her precious, loving ways.
And 'we'll' arise and call our mother blessed!
